Picture run through:
Royal Albert Hall material: “Gimme an A” front / rear single sleeve despite being a double LP plus label. A selection of “Experience” pressings, first up the first pressing utilising Tranco vinyl with gatefold sleeve, record and label. A later standard black vinyl with sleeve and label images. Note; there is a slight difference in text on the inner sleeve between this pair with the Tranco pressing showing the printers detail!
A pair of French variant pressing, with the Mode 2ndpressing followed by the 1st Entertainment International press.
More Experience pressings showing sleeves and labels with the first shown of this pair the UK [Ember] pressing showing as being a Tranco pressing.
The final shown, for the moment at least for these RAH pressings are a Dutch pressing on blue vinyl. While the material is not all from the 24thFebruary 1969 it does deserve showing [and listed] here.
Isle of Wight material:
The stereo copies of the IOW bootleg, one with sticker and one without. Also noting the blank labels for Vol. 2. The first official outing follows with four slightly differing pressings, again noting that the James Upton printers did sleeves for this recording in the late 1970s / early 1980’s. White faced test press in first press sleeve, first pressing, later pressing [likely from the mid 70’s Gothic printers] and the 1983 Upton sleeve with variant on label design.
A slight variant from Polydor, that of the Japan pressing with sleeve, label and lyric sheet. This originally comes with an obi but not shown here.
Finally here we have Experience Hendrix’s release. Shown the sleeve that holds the triple vinyl a label sample from the six sides and the booklet.
Tranco vinyl, see here: Articles and Comment (jmhvinyl.co.uk)
