Regard the Curtis Knight material that came out from PPX / Ed Chalpin [1935- 2019], most of this material has been superseded by releases from Experience Hendrix;

While the following have, at least for the most part been grouped to label close inspection will show that to be a worthless exercise to a degree! For instance, Hallmark Records has Pickwick on the label rim!
PPX Productions is behind a vast amount [if not all] of the material listed here so label grouping is simply for ease of reference and no more.
While it takes an anal collector to be bothered to pick a lot of this material up it was “The Eternal Fire Of Jimi Hendrix” [Pickwick] that made me realise just how anal I was regard these pressings. Having owned a copy for many years I saw a second copy in similarly great condition and while inspecting the cover I realised there was a slight difference from the already owned copy. That I had not even looked at the first copy in a number of years yet noticed this difference was a little disconcerting! Pictures of both rear covers are included and the difference is noticeable while they sit next to each other. While highlighting this record, it is worth saying there is a difference in vinyl weight too but I didn’t pick up on that till I photographed them for the site!
Just to make some aware and remind others; Just because a front cover is the same between two or more records does not make them the same record, while the same can be applied to records that carry the same title. Of course, song titles here are really meaningless and any comparison between different releases is also utterly meaningless as they are often different edits, takes, mixes and in some cases mastered, so differently as to be astonishingly different. At other times what may appear to be different is not, simply a mastering “error” of swapped sides or even narrower / wider stereo imaging.
